Comptroller Schaefer & Montgomery Executive Duncan Announce $1 Million in Heating Cost Help

Nearly 22,000 Montgomery Citizens to Receive $50 Checks

ANNAPOLIS, MD (Jan. 20, 2006)-Comptroller William Donald Schaefer today joined Montgomery County Executive Doug Duncan to announce the mailing out of $1,090,600 in $50 rebate checks for 21,812 Montgomery County citizens who qualify for the county's local Earned Income Credit (EIC) and the state's Refundable EIC.
